The balance suppression meds work wonderfully, but I suspect they're what makes me so incredibly drained and tired, so I've tried taking myself off them for the day - there's no way I can work on Monday feeling the way I felt yesterday.

So far, I've still been incredibly tired, but a lot happier (probably not thanks to going off meds though). I've not had any balance problems or nausea, which is a good sign. Also my hearing on the right ear seems slightly improved - at least sounds don't hurt as much any longer. Sign it's started healing?

So hopefully I'll be doing ok next week and be able to work (from home, at the very least).

After last year's ambitious plans for Frindlegarden south-east, v. 1.0 and Frindlellotment came to an abrupt end at the end of May (due to mourning), this year sports a wiser, less ambitious plan for Frindlegarden v. 2.0.

So far, there are
4 new fruit bushes, 2 gooseberries and 2 blackcurrants
6 bigger pots for repotting fruit bushes
4 big heaps of ivy (after round 1, the score is Frindle 1 - Ivy 14. It's like fighting a Laernean Hivydra.)
2 viciously cut back roses - ours will be the world's first ever rose easter shrubbery!
1 little stone garden area with alpine plants and scented alpine carnations

And plans for
* 2-4 potted blueberry bushes
* a rose bed, which has morphed into a flower bed (after the obvious advise that toddlers falling off a ledge into a rose bed is a Bad Thing)
* tearing up and binning all the rampant lillies in said flower bed
* putting trellis up behind the flower bed and cover it in honeysuckle (or similar climber)
* covering garden shed in potted clematis and rambling roses (or similar)
* pots of veg, probably tomatoes and beans, and a chilli plant


Also, s3k has announced that for her birthday, her friends will come and plant flowers. And eat cake too. Strawberry cake.

I've never painted Moscow. Don't know why...
Anyway, it's never too late to begin :)
